Laboratory staff on the Youth Forum that was dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance

October 3 at the Russian Economic University named after G.V. Plekhanov hosted the Youth Forum that was dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance.


The Youth Forum was aimed at forming in the student environment a tolerant attitude and respect for people of any ethnic, racial, religious, linguistic, social affiliation, as well as professing various religions and having different political views.

The participants of the Forum included staff of the ILSCR Prof. Tatarko and Assoc. Prof. Galyapina. In their speeches, they told about the results of research on intercultural relations in various regions of Russia, as well as on the positive experience of conducting a training on ethnic tolerance and ethnocultural competence, which was developed by the Laboratory staff in cooperation with colleagues from Moscow State University and Moscow University for the Humanities. In addition, during the presentations, an interesting experience was presented to establish the intercultural dialogue in the youth environment of the North Caucasus.
